Professor Wong Tin Wui: Revolutionise Drug Delivery*

Presently the lecturer and researcher at the Non-Destructive Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Research Centre, iPROMISE, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Associate Professor Dr Wong Tin Wui obtained his PhD degree from the National University of Singapore in 1999. His research areas are primarily focused on particle/scaffold design for oral, transdermal and pulmonary drug delivery, development of novel non-destructive pharmaceutical and biomedical analysers, as well as, design of pharmaceutical processors for innovative dosage form manufacture.

Dr Mahaletchumy Arujanan: Forward to 4th Industrial Revolution*

Renowned science and biotechnology communicator in the country and internationally, Dr Mahaletchumy Arujanan is the Executive Director of Malaysian Biotechnology Information Centre (MABIC) and Editor-in-Chief of The Petri Dish ­– the first science newspaper in Malaysia. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University Sunway. She has a degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Masters in Biotechnology and PhD in science communication from University of Malaya.

Mr Mohan Krishna: New Age Commercialisation*

Being the founder of Patent Mall Asia, Mr Mohan Krishna began his career as a test and packaging engineer with SiRES LABS in 2001 and was responsible for the design, testing and prototyping of SiRES’ first and second generation of optical chipsets. Back in AETAS, he has great experiences in handling patent prosecution matters local and internationally. He has also built a strong network of customers in his area of expertise in order to gain contacts for customers and business partners.

Ms Farah Wahida Ab Rafik

A venture capitalist and a relationship builder, Farah is the founding member and the current Investment Director of Cradle Seed Ventures. She had experienced working in the financial sector, especially at Cradle Fund Sdn. Bhd. and Maybank Former, for the past nine years. She completed her Masters in Business Administration at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2008.

Mdm Saraswathy Subramaniam

Madam Saraswathy is the current president of Asia Pacific Biosafety Association. The association represent over 800 practicing biosafety professionals from more than 42 countries worldwide, aiming to provide a professional forum that represents the regional interests and needs of biological safety practitioners and to provide a platform promoting constructive dialogue between the scientific community, governments, civil society, and the private sector.
